ConnectMiles Plan Terms and Conditions

You acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions of the Buy, Gift and Transfer Program (these "Terms and Conditions") by submitting your online request to purchase ConnectMiles from Points.com Inc. The local offices of Points.com Inc. are located at 595 Pacific Ave., 4th Floor San Francisco, CA 94133, USA. The head office of Points.com Inc. is located at 111 Richmond Street West, Suite 700, Toronto, Ontario M5H 2G4 Canada.

CMI Plan terms and conditions:

  • To purchase a subscription plan, you must be an active ConnectMiles member.
  • You may subscribe to only one (1) ConnectMiles Plan associated with your ConnectMiles account.
  • Each ConnectMiles Plan may be associated with only one (1) valid credit card.
  • You may change and/or update your payment method once your plan is activated.
  • Your subscription must be paid for using a credit and/or debit card (American Express, Visa, and/or Mastercard). If you complete a transaction with a credit card that uses a currency other than USD, your bank may convert the payment amount into your local currency and charge a conversion fee. The exchange rate and fee for a transaction in foreign currency are determined by your bank alone, not by ConnectMiles. If you have questions about these fees or the exchange rate applied to your transaction, please contact your bank.
  • Your monthly subscription will be “paused” in the event that the monthly recurring payment cannot be charged to the credit card provided. In the event that the charge cannot be made, you will receive an email notifying you. During the time that the plan is paused the member will not receive the monthly base miles, the quarterly and / or welcome bonus miles.
  • If your plan is “Paused”, you must update your payment information within 30 days after receiving the email notification of the failure to collect the recurrent payment. If you do not update your information, the plan will be canceled. If your plan is canceled you will be able to purchase a new plan, the continuity of your previous plan will not apply to your new subscription
  • ConnectMiles members may earn up to two million (2,000,000) miles per year in their account through products offered by ConnectMiles.
  • Miles acquired through your ConnectMiles Plan subscription are not qualifying miles and do not count for purposes of achieving and/or maintaining PreferMembers status (PreferMember Program).
  • Miles purchased through your ConnectMiles Plan monthly subscription are not refundable.
  • Any ConnectMiles base miles and bonus miles acquired on a monthly basis through your ConnectMiles Plan will be credited upon successful completion of your recurring payment. In other words, the miles will be credited once the appropriate monthly amount has been correctly charged to your credit card. The miles acquired will be reflected in your account within forty-eight (48) hours after the payment is completed.
  • After you subscribe, your ConnectMiles Plan will take effect on the day when the first recurring payment is successfully charged to your credit card, and that day will be your recurring payment date for the ConnectMiles Plan to which you are subscribed.
  • Base miles and bonus miles do not count as credit points or miles in any other loyalty program.
  • Miles acquired through your monthly subscription may not be redeemed for cash.
  • This product may not be combined with other promotions and/or discounts.
  • ConnectMiles Plan monthly subscriptions and the miles acquired through such subscriptions are subject to all ConnectMiles terms and conditions, which are available at the following link:

  • As a ConnectMiles Plan subscriber, you will receive bonuses according to the specific terms of the ConnectMiles Plan you select.

  • Your receipt of the total number of miles that can be earned in a year under your chosen plan is subject to your successful completion of payment for twelve (12) months of that plan.
  • You will receive the applicable benefits of the ConnectMiles Plan to which you are subscribed beginning on the day when the recurring payment is successfully charged to your credit card.
  • The welcome miles will be credited to your account upon successful completion of three (3) recurring payments (on the payment date or on the second attempt, if applicable). The miles will be reflected in your account within forty-eight (48) hours after successful completion of the third recurring payment. Welcome miles are awarded only 1 (once) during the duration of your plan.
  • The quarterly ConnectMiles bonus miles will be credited to your account after successful completion of every third recurring payment (on the payment date or on the second attempt, if applicable), and the miles will be reflected in your account within forty-eight (48) hours after successful completion of every third recurring payment.
  • In the event that your recurring payment is not successfully completed on the payment dates and/or after one (1) additional attempt has been made, your subscription will be suspended (“paused”) until such time as you update your payment method. While your subscription is suspended, the base miles, bonus miles, and/or welcome miles will not be credited to your account. In the event that your subscription is suspended because your recurring payment has not been successfully completed, you will be notified by e-mail.
  • You may change your ConnectMiles Plan by logging into your ConnectMiles account, going to the “Manage Miles” section, selecting your new preferred plan, and accepting the System Terms and Conditions again. If you change your plan before the third recurring payment is successfully charged to the credit card associated with your subscription, you will not receive the quarterly bonus miles or the welcome miles. You will only receive the miles for the new plan you select.
  • The ConnectMiles Plan change will take effect the first time the recurring payment is successfully completed.

Completion of the Recurring Payment:

  • Residents of Peru will be charged GST/HST/VAT (goods and services tax/harmonized sales tax/value-added tax) or other equivalent taxes, as appropriate. The transaction will appear as “Copa Connect By PTS.”
  • ConnectMiles reserves the right to change the terms, conditions, and specifications of the plans (including the price of the plans, the amount of the recurring payments, the bonuses and benefits) at any time without prior notice.
  • You agree that use of the ConnectMiles miles is subject to these terms and conditions, as well as the terms, conditions, exclusions, and limitations of the Copa Airlines ConnectMiles loyalty program.
  • ConnectMiles reserves the right to take any action it deems appropriate in response to misuse by members.
  • In the event that the recurring payment cannot be successfully charged to your card, you may update your payment information in order for the payment to be reprocessed.

Expiration:

  • The expiration of any miles you receive through the ConnectMiles Plan to which you are subscribed will be subject to the Terms and Conditions of the ConnectMiles Program.

Cancellation:

  • You may cancel your ConnectMiles Plan only by logging into your ConnectMiles account, clicking on “ConnectMiles Plan,” and requesting cancellation of your ConnectMiles Plan.
  • If you cancel your ConnectMiles Plan, the credit card associated with your plan will also be automatically cancelled in the monthly subscription system.
  • If you request cancellation of your ConnectMiles Plan, recurring payments that were completed previously will not be refunded, and you will keep your ConnectMiles miles. Once the plan is cancelled the member will lose its continuity.
